Business Partnerships with support from DANIDA
DFSME has more than 30 years of experience in supporting Danish SMEs establishing partnerships in emerging markets.
DFSME assists Business-to-Business cooperation between Danish and foreign companies seeking funding and administrating projects under public and private support programmes and investment funds such as Nordic Project Fund NOPEF, Investment Fund for Developing Copuntries IFU and the Danish development Unit Danida.
Consultants from DFSME's International Department assist companies in Denmark who aim to commit to a long-term partnership with companies on emerging markets. Partnerships can involve different activities such as outsourcing, local production or the establishment of a joint venture company.
One of the programmes you can get counselling through is Danida Business Partnerships. DFSME guides your company through the program to get access, necessary funding and to manage the mandatory reporting to DANIDA. DFSME can also assist you in finding the right project opportunities in relevant countries as well as developing coherent business plans for cooperation. The Danida Business Partnership (DBP) program supports partnership projects with 75 % funding in the preparation phase and up to 50 % in the implementation phase.
With the DBP programme it is possible to involve other stakeholders as a part of the implementation to strengthen the foundation of the business concept society. This can for example be schools, NGOs and public or semi-public organisations.
DFSME has extensive experience in working with partnerships in DANIDAs private sector development program, and thus arranging matchmaking events and delegations both in Denmark and the partner countries.
The DBP program covers 19 developing countries in Asia and Africa.
